Karen Ay, Terra Infirma, 2012.
As part of the participation at the Multiplied Art Fair (London 12-15 October), The Multiple Store presents a brand new edition by Karen Ay, 'Terra Infirma'. 'Terra Infirma' reflects the artist’s on-going interest in notions of identity, nation-ness and human geography. An increased ability to communicate and move around the planet has dissolved boundaries, both physical and imagined, and in this work, the idea of fixed identity is challenged and reconsidered.
