It's hard for me to find new limited art editions by Chinese contemporary artists. I found some interesting available editions at the UCCASTORE. Established in November of 2007, the UCCASTORE is a concept store within the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art (UCCA) in Beijing. As the first art retailer in China to specialize in collector-quality limited edition artworks, UCCASTORE brings together work from over 30 of China’s finest contemporary artists and 40 cutting-edge designers. Feng Mengbo’s limited edition porcelain plates “Restart_P1” and “Restart_P2” were introduced alongside the artist’s solo exhibition “Restart” at UCCA. The images are derived from the “Long March: Restart” series with two images featured: a little Red Army soldier and a big bang. With new color adjustment, the images come to life on the surface of the plates. SOLD OUT
