A suite of 6 etchings, created in 2011, comes to light after being a secret for 10 years. The full vibrancy of Butzer's expressiveness — reluctant lines, splintering cuts and tender bundles — is sensitively brought to the fore by master printers Mette Ulstrup and Niels Borch Jensen. With jagged burrs as well as delicate gradients, the seemingly "minimal" etchings are an infinite contemplation on becoming and passing.
