Andy Warhol signed posters.
On Thursday, April 25 2013, the Andy Warhol Foundation will be presenting an array of signed and unsigned Andy Warhol posters on Fab.com. The rare and vintage posters, dating from the 1960s to 1990s, will launch at 4pm EST on Thursday, April 25 at 4pm EST and run concurrently for 14 days on Fab US. The posters will be priced from $160 to $3,900. A series of 55 posters selected by Fab’s founder, Bradford Shellhammer, will be offered in the US, and 41 in the EU. Last September, the Warhol Foundation announced that they will be donating or selling their entire collection so they could transition exclusively into a grant-making organization. The original art work will be sold through the Christie’s auction house. The sale of the Foundation’s collection, according to the New York Times, is expected to raise $100 million.
