Cock Monsters is an opportunity for collectors to own an original piece that is an extension of Melgaard’s consistent exploration of the provocative. Featuring portraits of imaginary monstrous characters ranging from childlike Cyclops’ to adolescents with humorously placed genitalia in lieu of noses, Cock Monsters is a unique moment in Melgaard’s practice. Bold neon light is emitted by the lamps, which have over 10 color settings and can be fixed to glow, strobe, or fade.
