Brian Calvin – Fifty Crudities

The Song Cave reached out to a couple of their favorite artists—the poet Graham Foust and the painter Brian Calvin—and they kindly and generously put together an incredible fundraiser to help them out. It's a limited-edition artist’s book called Fifty Crudities (as in small pieces of crud, rather than crudités, or small pieces of food), a selection from 10 years worth of tiny glimpses into the mind of Mr. Foust, delightfully illustrated by Mr. Calvin.

Fifty Crudities is 60 pages long, and printed in an edition of 350 copies. 100 special editions have been signed and numbered by both of the artists, and also come with an 8.5 x 11 inch signed and numbered silkscreen print by Brain Calvin. (Brian took the liberty of uniquely hand-coloring and drawing on three of these screen prints, making those special editions even more special, and available separately.)
