This work took two years to develop and was inspired by 18th century Archeological objects made of crystal. Since a 2010 trip to Easter Island I have been fascinated by Archeological histories where there is a lack of consensus between historians. The famous statues of Easter Island, pre-columbian Crystal Skulls, or the Etruscan terracotta warriors. All are Fictional Archeology. - Daniel Arsham
