Daniel Arsham - RIMOWA - 2019 SOLD OUT
This special project reimagines the iconic RIMOWA aluminum case as a relic from a future archaeological era. I journeyed through the RIMOWA archive to blend the past and future - housing the vintage case within a new, collaborative RIMOWA aluminum briefcase. Similar to the way these cases have been displayed in film history, the eroded cast artwork is presented as the object of value stowed away inside. - Daniel Arsham
This is an edition of 500 pieces.
Each sculpture comes complete with a pair of custom art handling gloves, collaborative adhesive labels and a holographic label verifying its edition number and authenticity.
