Laure Prouvost prints ‘Paradise On line’ and ‘Ideally the Black …’ *SOLD*

Laure Prouvost. Paradise On Line, 2014Laure Prouvost. Paradise On Line, 2014  SOLD OUT

Laure Prouvost‘s work often engages with language through installation and film, creating an unexpected and often humorous detachment between image, language, and the perceived meaning. Her juxtaposition of images and texts prompt an exploration of the imagination and the Surreal that immerses the viewer in a playful questioning of experience and meaning. Both works have been created in tribute to the late French film maker Chris Marker, accompanying Marker’s posthumous show, A Grin Without a Cat at the Whitechapel Gallery in Spring of 2014.
