The Vinyl Factory reunites with Turner Prize-winning artist Martin Creed to collaborate on a new hand-painted limited vinyl edition, Work No 1154. Featuring a live recording of an acoustic performance by Martin Creed recorded at The House of St Barnabas in Soho, London, pressed on heavyweight black vinyl on the EMI 1400 and housed in a hand painted sleeve, signed and numbered by the artist, and limited to only 100 copies worldwide, this edition is set to become a collector’s item.  This is the latest in a series of collaborations between Martin Creed and The Vinyl Factory, and like each release before now, it looks set to become a collector’s item. 20% of the profits from the sale of the records going directly to the charity, The House of St Barnabas.

On 17 April 2013, the night of his performance and the recording of the record, Creed will introduce an evening of acoustic music with Moshi Moshi Records in the chapel of The House of St Barnabas. Creed’s album Love To You came was released on vinyl in July 2012 on The Vinyl Factory. He is currently working on a new album to be released in early 2014.

The House of St Barnabas has been a charity in the heart of Soho, London since 1846. Its vision today is to create a future where sustained employment is a reality for those affected by homelessness. The Charity will achieve this through its Employment Academy, which will operate as the heart of the not for profit members’ club opening in September 2013 and will be the vital key to success in realising its vision.
