Nan Goldin - Apocalyptic Sky Over Manhattan, NYC, 2001 - 2021 SOLD OUT
In honour of Overdose Awareness Day, Marian Goodman Gallery are releasing a special limited edition print sale of “Apocalyptic Sky Over Manhattan, NYC, 2001” by Nan Goldin. Proceeds from the sale of this photograph will go to NC Survivors Union - a national organization headquartered in North Carolina that is owned and operated by people directly impacted by America’s Drug War.
Last year, Nan Goldin’s benefit print sale allowed NCUSU to purchase an FTIR spectrometer. This machine helps consumers of ‘street drugs’ test their supply to better navigate an increasingly dangerous synthetic drug supply and stay alive. Nan Goldin & Sackler Pain are proud to continue to support NCUSU’s vital community-centered work. This image is in honour of the 20th anniversary of 9/11, the most tragic day in New York’s history.
