The second edition of House of Voltaire, a hugely successful pop-up shop, is on !!!
House of Voltaire takes an exciting and innovative approach to raising vital funds for Studio Voltaire’s unique artist studios and ground breaking gallery and education programmes. House of Voltaire draws on Studio Voltaire’s close relationships with leading international artists, many of whom have had their first major gallery show or have been a part of the community of studio artists. UPDATES !
This year, the shop is located at Jonathan Viner’s gallery, a former horses stables in the heart of Mayfair, and is designed by 6a architects, one of the UK’s most important young practices that were responsible for South London Gallery’s new extension and the art centre Raven Row. An assortment of goods will be on offer comprising limited edition prints, unique works and a series of specially commissioned home wares, clothing and accessories, with objects on sale from £1 to £20,000. Throughout the month, a roving cast of characters and familiar faces from the arts and fashion worlds will be fronting and staffing the shop, as well as various events and ad hoc happenings taking place on site.
