Jeff Koons, Banality Series, 2013. Favorite To celebrate its 150 years, the French manufacturer of high-end luxury porcelain dinnerware Bernardaud has gone to meet the world of art by asking moviemakers, photographers and artists to bring their view of her work and image. The group of contemporary artists include Jeff Koons, Sophie Calle, JR and Prune Nourry, Marlène Mocquet, Michael Lin, Marco Brambilla and film auteur-turned-artist David Lynch. The series of plates are created in a limited edition.
This new series will be exhibited at Bernardaud’s boutique in New York (499, Park Avenue) from May 10 to May 24, 2013. Their are now on view at La Vitrine Am Paris untill May 22, 2013. The plates will be available May 2013, via the Bernardaud e-shop here
