Olafur Eliasson – Lifeworld – Four New Silkscreen Prints

On the occasion of his public artwork Lifeworld appearing across public screens in London, New York, Berlin and Seoul, CIRCA presents a series of four hand-signed prints by Olafur Eliasson.

This new series continues the artist’s long-standing investigation of colour phenomena. To create each screen-print in this series, Eliasson analysed the light levels and colour palettes featured in Lifeworld, dematerializing the cityscapes where the public artworks appear. Eliasson explains: ‘Placed next to each other, these cyclical works host myriad perspectives – atmospheres, feelings, judgements and observations – and invite sensorial connection’.

Available for a limited time (1 October until midnight 31 December 2024), this time-limited-edition harks back to Eliasson’s extensive 'colour experiment' painting series, which he has produced since 2009 to explore colour theory and the spectrum of light visible to the human eye. Created especially for CIRCA, these four colour screen prints encourage our eyes to stay in constant motion.
