This bar of ginger and lavender soap was issued by the Tate Museum in conjunction with the John Baldessari exhibition title Pure Beauty that took place October 13, 2009 -- January 10, 2010. The soap and exhibition title reference an early Baldessari work of the same name from 1966-68, an off-white canvas with the phrase painted in black capital letters.
