Takashi Murakami - 6HP DOB Michel Majerus - 2020
To celebrate this issue’s cover star, Michel Majerus, Takashi Murakami decided to turn his painting 6HP DOB into a limited edition print. Having something of an obsession with the late Luxembourgian painter, Murakami has recently started to appropriate Majerus’s imagery, crossbreeding it with his own iconography. 6HP DOB is a prime example of these works: a true “collaboration” with a painter he never met.
