Wangechi Mutu and Arturo Herrera prints – Available at Art 43 Basel

Wangechi Mutu and Arturo HerreraPace Prints announces the release of new prints editions by Wangechi Mutu and Arturo Herrera at Art 43 Basel.  The prints will be on view in their booth (Hall 2.1 | Booth Q11.)

"The Original Nine Daughters" is Pace Prints' first collaboration with Kenyan-born, New York-based artist Wangechi Mutu. Mutu has been in the Pace Editions printshop for the last several months creating this portfolio of nine etchings (with additional aquatint, linocut, collage and hand-colored elements).

"Johannes" is Arturo Herrera's second edition with Pace Prints.  Using Herrera's signature techniques of collage and felt cut-out, "Johannes" includes over 80 separately hand-printed and -cut elements in techniques including etching, linocut, letterpress, and pochoir.
