Pace Prints announces the release of new prints editions by Wangechi Mutu and Arturo Herrera at Art 43 Basel. The prints will be on view in their booth (Hall 2.1 | Booth Q11.)
"The Original Nine Daughters" is Pace Prints' first collaboration with Kenyan-born, New York-based artist Wangechi Mutu. Mutu has been in the Pace Editions printshop for the last several months creating this portfolio of nine etchings (with additional aquatint, linocut, collage and hand-colored elements).
"Johannes" is Arturo Herrera's second edition with Pace Prints. Using Herrera's signature techniques of collage and felt cut-out, "Johannes" includes over 80 separately hand-printed and -cut elements in techniques including etching, linocut, letterpress, and pochoir.
