The sculptures "Woman" and "Man" created for the NZZ offer collectors the chance to own a pair of iconographic works of contemporary art. Nevertheless, they serve as a projection surface for human existence and that is precisely why they trigger emotions in us. Each sculpture was created using the classic and complex process of bronze casting, went through numerous production stages and finishing processes to finally receive the classic painting by Stephan Balkenhol and thus become a unique work of art with a unique character.
