Daniel Dezeuze, Gaze peinte et découpée, 2014
Daniel Dezeuze: artist, critic, poet, and founding member of the French avant-garde movement Supports/Surfaces, has just completed a brand new limited edition print for The Song Cave! This print reproduces a painting from Daniel Dezeuze’s series Gaze peinte et découpée, created in the late 1970s. Dezeuze chose this specific piece for The Song Cave from the incredibly fragile and enigmatic “cut and painted gauze” pieces, as the original piece from 1979 has disappeared.
Your purchase of this print goes directly toward the publication of Supports/Surfaces: An Anthology of Texts, edited by Raphael Rubinstein,to be published by The Song Cave in the winter of 2015.
