David Shrigley - The Tea Is Alive - 2021
These teapots are handmade in England using the traditional method of fine bone china production. Liquid clay is poured into bespoke moulds before going through twenty different hand process and three firings in a kiln.
Since these Shrigley teapots are individually made by hand, they differ from each other very slightly, making each object unique.
