2022 sees Magnum Photos celebrate its 75th anniversary with a series of three square print sales, taking place over the course of the year.
For the first time, the sales will allow collectors to build a triptych of images, curated by photographers or estates.
The second sale is titled Now, and is organized in partnership with The Photographers’ Gallery.
122 photographers — including 31 from the Photographers’ Gallery — were invited to select an image from their archive that stands out to them today: whether a new or more recent image from their archive, or perhaps one that has stood the test of time.
This collection of 122 prints represents the breadth and variety not only of the practices and outlooks within Magnum and the Photographers’ Gallery, but also of what photography can convey and capture today.
