Rinko Kawauchi - Untitled - 2025

Rinko Kawauchi - Untitled - 2025"This image was taken near my home this past February. Though still cold, the sunlight felt like spring, and the yellow rapeseed fields gave me a sense that the coming spring, the future, would be bright. It felt like it was shining light into a world full of anxiety."

Nadav Kander- Highway 147, Durham, North Carolina, USA - 2003"For me, this photograph shows a violent collision lit in blood red between nature and concrete. My exposure I calculated to be 90 minutes. Once composed, I opened the shutter and left for a bite to eat at a diner nearby."

Sunil Gupta - Untitled from the series Country: Portrait of an Indian Village - 2006

Sunil Gupta - Untitled from the series Country Portrait of an Indian Village - 2006"Two goats stand poised on a low brick wall in my father’s village in Uttar Pradesh, India. The
photograph forms part of Country: Portrait of an Indian Village, an extended visual study of the place
my family comes from. Our lineage traces back to a woman who escaped a violent feud in the state’s
eastern reaches, and this image carries that quiet history: everyday life layered with the weight of
movement, refuge, and the small, enduring rhythms of a village that shaped us."
