Printed Matter Satellite Project Space & New Wade Guyton Edition SOLD OUT
Announcing an off-site Printed Matter location over the summer at Carolina Nitsch Project Room, located at 534 W 22nd St. Starting June 6th, and continuing through the end of August, PM will be programming several rotating installations, including a presentation of past fundraising editions, a mini-exhibition, and culminating in a satellite bookstore. The satellite bookstore will remain open while they make the move into their future home at 231 Eleventh Ave!
To inaugurate the opening of the Project Room, PM will launch a newly editioned artwork by Wade Guyton, X Poster (Untitled, 2007, Epson UltraChrome inkjet on linen, 84 x 69 inches, WG1999), the second Printed Matter Fundraising Edition with the artist.
The large-scale print features a new image of one of Guyton's well-known 'X' paintings. Produced to the scale and in the style of the artist's original inkjet-on-canvas work, the edition is produced with archival UV curable inks and folded by hand.
Size: 84 x 69" unfolded and is presented in a 24 x 36" cardboard sleeve.
