Haroon Mirza - Visions after Scelsi - 2019 - 2022 SOLD OUT
This spore print of a large Amanita Mascara or "Fly Agaric" mushroom, the archetypal red and white toadstool is accompanied by its apparent shadow, a mark made from the ink released from the common Ink Cap mushroom. The combination of the circle and line harkens back to the artist's preoccupation with binary numbers and in this instance a nod to the Italian composer Giacinto Scelsi’s interest in the same motif.
